I understand that the receipt of this application does not imply or constitute an agreement or contract for employment. Proof of U.S. citizenship or immigration status will be required upon employment. You must complete an I-9 form required by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service within three business days of the date your employment begins. I certify that all statements and answers in this application are true and complete, and agree that any falsification, omission, concealment or failure to answer any questions fully and completely may result in denial of employment or termination, regardless of when it is discovered. I understand that an offer of employment with Trio Electric is contingent upon my taking and passing a test for illegal drugs and pre-employment background investigation. I authorize Trio Electric or an agent to perform a background check including, but not limited to: investigate my references, to review my former employment and record, to perform a criminal background check, and to keep and preserve records of such investigation. I further authorize all of my current and former employers to provide reference information including job performance, my work record and attendance, the reasons for my leaving, and my suitability for the position that I am seeking. If employed, I agree to read and comply with the Company rules, regulations and policies. I understand that all employees of the company are employees at will and, as such, are free to resign at any time without reason. The Company, likewise, retains the right to terminate an employee's employment at any time with or without reason or notice. No oral statements or anything contained in the Employee Handbook or any other document provided to the employee are intended to be, not should they be construed as, a guarantee that employment or any benefit is to be continued for any period of time. Any salary figure provided to an employee in annual, monthly or weekly terms are stated for the sake of convenience or to facilitate comparisons and are not intended and do not create an employment contract for any specific period of time. This document does not create a contract of employment. If employed, I agree that upon termination of my employment that I will return all company property and records in my possession. I understand that this application for employment will remain active for 30 days. If I am not hired and I am still interested in employment with Trio Electric, after that time, I understand that I must complete a new application.
